Lou Plevritis has always had an eye for well-designed and highly functioning kitchens and bathrooms. In 1988 he started his career in the industry as an apprentice for a local company. Even then, his intent was to work hard, hone his skills, and satisfy his clients, with the ultimate goal of owning his own kitchen and bath business.
After only three years in the business, Lou was building custom kitchen cabinets. A few years later he had the opportunity to learn a completely different aspect of the business, and become a kitchen and bath installer. In 1998, with ten years of hands-on, industry experience, Lou decided it was time take his knowledge and expertise to the next level, and began searching for the perfect location to open his doors. After months of searching, he found the space he was looking for, and opened the doors of Apex Kitchen and Bath in Niles.

Domenica has been designing kitchens and bathrooms for over 20 years, and has been with Apex Kitchens since 2009. After earning a degree in Business at Dominican University, Domenica went on to study interior design at Harrington Institute of Interior Design.
Domenica enjoys working with her clients and helping them bring their vision to life. She is an attentive listener and tries to incorporate the client’s wish list in their project in a functional and aesthetically pleasing way. Often she finds solutions for challenging spaces while maximizing storage.
